How does buying laptops work?
The process of buying laptops and the price indication can be described in 6 steps. See below how buy hardware in his work.
1. Inventory of type and quantity of laptops
The process begins with a detailed inventory of the laptops, Chromebooks, and notebooks your company plans to sell. We ask you to draw up an inventory list with specifications such as make, model, age, technical condition and any defects. If you do not have an inventory list, you can download a blank copy from our website and complete it. This information enables us to make an accurate valuation and ensure that the rest of the process runs smoothly.
2. Valuation of the laptops (residual value assessment)
We then assess the value of the laptops. Based on the inventory provided, we determine a provisional residual value. Factors such as age, technical specifications, physical condition and market value play a role in this. In general, laptops that are no older than five years and in good condition have a higher valuation. We offer competitive market prices and an all-in service, so that you are assured of a fair offer.
3. Quotation and agreement
After the valuation, you will receive a no-obligation offer from us for the depreciated laptops. If you agree, we will draw up a purchase agreement in which all agreements regarding the sale, such as price, transport and any additional services, are recorded. This ensures transparency and clarity throughout the entire process.
4. Logistics and transport
We offer a low-cost ICT pick-up service for companies throughout the Netherlands. Within 10 working days, we will pick up your old laptops and other IT equipment at your location. Or you can choose to deliver them yourself (by appointment) to our location.
5. Securely delete data
Secure and certified data erasure is a crucial part of our process. We are Blancco, ISO and WEEELABEX certified. We ensure that all data is permanently and irretrievably erased. Afterwards, you will receive a detailed report and an official destruction certificate of data erasure, so that you are assured of a correct and secure processing of your confidential information.
6. Processing, reporting and payment
After collection or delivery, the laptops are taken to our processing department, where they are carefully inspected and tested. Devices that are still suitable for reuse are prepared for a second life. Defective laptops are recycled in an environmentally friendly way, whereby usable parts are reused and harmful substances are disposed of responsibly. You will receive a detailed report of the processed equipment, and the final proceeds will be transferred to your company within 30 days.
