How does buying old servers work?
The process of buying old servers can be described in 6 steps. Read below how buy hardware in his work.
1. Inventory of type and quantity
The process begins with a detailed inventory of the old servers your company wants to sell. We ask you to draw up a clear list with specifications such as brand, age, model and technical and cosmetic condition. Are there also broken servers present? Then any defects should be mentioned. If you do not have an inventory list, you can download a blank version from our website and fill it out.
2. Assessing the residual value of servers (valuation)
We use this inventory list to make an accurate valuation. You will receive a preliminary valuation from us by email. Factors such as age, technical specifications, physical condition and market value play a role in this. In general, servers that are not older than five years and are in good condition have an attractive compensation. We offer fair, competitive purchase prices and an all-in service.
3. Quotation and agreements
If you agree to the purchase proposal of the used servers, we will draw up an agreement in which all agreements regarding the sale, such as compensation, transport and any additional services, are recorded. This ensures transparency and clarity throughout the entire sales process.
4. Transport: we will pick up your old servers
We offer a low-cost ICT pick-up service for companies throughout the Netherlands. We will pick up your old servers at your location within 10 working days. We can of course also take other used IT equipment with us. You can of course also return the servers yourself (by appointment) to our warehouse.
5. Secure data destruction
Secure data destruction is a crucial part of our process. We are ISO, WEEElABEX and Blancco certified. We ensure that all customer and company data present on the servers is permanently and irretrievably deleted. After completion, you will receive an official data destruction certificate, so that you are assured of correct and secure processing.
6. Processing, reporting and payment
After collection or delivery, the servers are taken to our processing department. They are carefully inspected and tested there. Devices that are still suitable for reuse are given a second life. Broken servers are dismantled and recycled in an environmentally friendly way. You will receive a detailed report of all processed IT equipment, and the final proceeds will be transferred to your company within 30 days.
